The New Lamborghini Urus Performante Has Arrived—And It's Everything We Hoped For
London's first Lamborghini Urus Performante has landed at our showroom. Discover what makes this super SUV the most extreme performance vehicle on the road.

We've been counting down the days, and it's finally here: the Lamborghini Urus Performante has officially arrived at our London showroom. This isn't just another SUV—it's Lamborghini's most extreme interpretation of the super SUV formula, and after spending time with it, we can confidently say it exceeds every expectation.
What Makes the Performante Different?
The standard Urus is already a phenomenal machine—663 horsepower, brutal acceleration, and unmistakable Lamborghini presence. But Lamborghini's Squadra Corse racing division wanted more. The Performante is the result of that ambition.
The numbers tell part of the story:
666 horsepower from the 4.0L twin-turbo V8 (up from 650)
0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds (0.1s faster)
47kg lighter than the standard Urus
Recalibrated suspension and steering for sharper response
Track-focused Rally mode for loose surfaces
But the real magic is in how it drives.
What It's Like Behind the Wheel
We had the privilege of taking our Nero Noctis (matte black) Performante out for a proper evaluation, and the difference from the standard Urus is immediately apparent.
The exhaust note. Lamborghini fitted an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system as standard, and the sound is absolutely intoxicating. On startup, it announces itself with a deep, aggressive rumble. Under full throttle, it screams like a naturally aspirated V10, crackling and popping on the overrun. This is a soundtrack you'll never tire of.
The handling. The Performante's carbon fiber components (roof, hood, front bumper) reduce weight in all the right places, lowering the center of gravity. Combined with recalibrated air suspension, adaptive dampers, and rear-wheel steering, the Performante feels impossibly agile for a 2.2-ton SUV. Point it into a corner, and it rotates with precision that rivals far smaller sports cars.
The speed. 666 horsepower propels this SUV to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds—faster than most supercars from a decade ago. The 8-speed automatic gearbox delivers rapid-fire shifts, and the all-wheel-drive system puts every ounce of power to the ground without drama. Overtaking performance is simply savage.
The Design Details That Matter
Lamborghini's designers obsessed over every detail to create visual drama:
Carbon fiber everywhere. The roof, hood, front splitter, and rear diffuser are all exposed carbon fiber, creating a technical, race-inspired aesthetic.
23" Taigete wheels. Lightweight forged alloys wrapped in bespoke Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires (optional). These aren't just for show—they're designed for track performance.
Aero package. A more aggressive front splitter, redesigned rear diffuser, and fixed rear spoiler all contribute to genuine downforce. This isn't styling—it's functional aerodynamics.
Exclusive Performante badging. Subtle but distinctive callouts that differentiate it from the standard Urus.
Inside: Performance Meets Luxury
Step inside, and you're greeted by Lamborghini's signature cockpit-inspired cabin. Our example features:
Alcantara everything. The dashboard, steering wheel, headliner, and seats are wrapped in premium Alcantara with contrast stitching—tactile, luxurious, and performance-oriented.
Carbon fiber accents. Exposed carbon fiber on the center console and door panels ties the interior to the exterior theme.
Sport seats. Deeply bolstered seats that hold you in place during spirited driving, yet remain comfortable for long journeys.
The technology is equally impressive: dual digital displays (12.3" instrument cluster and 8.4" infotainment), a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system, and a full suite of driver assistance features. This is a car that's as comfortable cruising through Mayfair as it is attacking the Nürburgring.
Who Is This Car For?
The Urus Performante is for the driver who refuses to compromise. You want SUV practicality—five seats, a proper boot, commanding driving position. But you also want supercar performance, Lamborghini drama, and the ability to embarrass sports cars at the traffic lights.
It's for the entrepreneur who needs to drop the kids at school in the morning and attend a track day in the afternoon. It's for the collector who already has the Huracán in the garage and needs something more practical for daily duties. It's for anyone who believes that "sensible" doesn't have to mean "boring."
Why You Should See It in Person
Photos don't do this car justice. The presence is overwhelming in person—the width, the stance, the aggressive lines. The exhaust note needs to be heard, not read about. And the driving experience? You simply have to feel it.
Our Urus Performante is available for viewing and test drives at our London showroom. Whether you're ready to place an order or simply want to experience what Lamborghini's engineers have created, we'd love to show you around.
